Was recently at an event in Nashville and stayed at the Gaylord. It reminded me of the "Mall of America". Absolutely huge! There is even an island in the middle of a resort with a small southern town feel, a river, shops and restaurants, and a flatboat ride. The Gaylord is an amazing place that is a site to behold in and of itself. In terms of planning a convention, it could not get any bigger than this. Countless ballrooms that seem to never end. I'm curious now to get a square footage number of the resort. Of course, the place is right next to the Grand Ole Opry, so it has easy access to some of the best country music in the world.
