The B-52s
As a young boy I remember going to Candlestick Park in San Francisco with my grandfather to watch a Giants game. It was really windy, Barry Bonds hit a home run, and the song “Roam” by The B52’s was playing in between innings. Its amazing how music has the power to take us back into time and articulate our memories.
The B52’s have defied convention for nearly 30 years. The band’s unique sounds are distinctive and original, inspiring other musicians who simply don’t know who else they can compare the band to. Internationally, The B52s have always been a hit with songs like “Love Shack” and “Roam”. Booking agents keep the band busy, as The B52’s recently played in a date at the “Festival Internacional de Benicassim” in Spain.
