Walking down the hot streets of Broadway in New York City last summer, I saw a truckload of signs, but one in particular caught my eye - four guys standing out towards an audience and raising their hands to the air. What was their story? How did they get there? You most likely have run across this sign as it is the advertisement for the Broadway Musical “Jersey Boys”, which is currently playing in multiple cities throughout the US.
“Jersey Boys” is the story behind Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons. Frankie was one of the first to popularize songs using an almost flawless “falsetto” voice, inspiring countless guys to stretch their range and mimic his voice singing “Walk Like a Man” in the car or shower. And with close to 40 hit songs, there is little wonder why there is a musical featuring his songs. Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons are now recognized at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, where they were inducted in 1990. Today, Frankie is still going strong, and booking agents bring him all over the world to perform at weddings, birthday parties, and private events.
