An influence to many throughout the years, including Smashing Pumpkins and The Dixie Chicks, Stevie Nicks has a flair all of her own. She has become the female singer/songwriter that has inspired generations of future women artists. With many “behind the music” stories, including VH1’s segment, it is no surprise to most audiences that there was a lot of drama that came behind the music. Infighting within the band “Fleetwood Mac” led to numerous rumors of unhealthy relationships and drug abuse. The music lived on though, and Stevie has developed a very successful solo career on her own, including over 20 “Top 50” Billboard hits. And Stevie’s fan base is as loyal as any artists. People will travel all around the country just to see a live performance. The song “Landslide” has to go down as one of the greatest, (and perhaps most played) songs of all time. Stevie keeps a very busy schedule on the road these days, and booking agents all over the world are lining up dates for private performances.
